Jan 6-12: Face Your Sh*t
First, thank you for your patience on this week's newsletter. This is an emotional one, and it took a lot of time and intense channeling to word each transit in a way that is empowering and motivating (especially the 12 zodiac messages in the subscription part). Without further ado, let's dive in--
It's back to work time, healing fam! And I'm not just talking about our 9 to 5's. Back to work could range from your shadow work to a creative project to pile of mail you've been putting on the back burner to open. With action planet Mars Rx entering emotional Cancer, which will oppose communicative Mercury entering resilient Capricorn, this week is the most auspicious opportunity to devote to that New Year's Resolution.
It's time to have that inevitable, tough love convo with yourself about why this Resolution is a necessary goal to attain and maintain.
Tarot Card of the Week:
Ten of Swords: Deep Healing and Resilience

Change is our most consistent and stable event, and we're all in the thick of it. The holidays are over, we're all going back to work, and it is technically the New Year. So why does it feel like we're still in the thick of ending a cycle? When the Ten of Swords enters the reading, there is a need for deep emotional healing as a result of an abrupt ending that could range from the winter break being over to breaking up with an unhealthy pattern, relationship, job, or belief that no longer serves you. Lean into the change wholeheartedly. New Years resolution time starts now, and your resilience may feel tested on a deep-rooted level. Give yourself grace: creating new habits takes time, so take it day by day, and invite community to remain accountable.
Ten of Swords Affirmation:
I invite the abundant, expansive change I desire.

Astrology Forecast: Jan 6-12
Although we are beginning the New Year, we are still in the thick of winter. Mars and Mercury not only enter new zodiac signs, but they will also oppose one another, challenging us to understand our feelings before communicating.
Jan 6: Mars Retrograde Enters Cancer
Mars (action, aggression) has been in fiery leader Leo since November 3rd, but went retrograde on December 6th. Exactly a month later (today!), Mars enters emotional and creative Cancer. Now that we've spent the last month reflecting on how our egos can make us act out of fear and out of our integrity, now we're being called to reflect on the emotional side of taking action. What is the root source behind our instinct to take action? Is it rooted in emotional wounding or trauma? Cancer is the mother of the zodiac, so this will be a time of great emotional nurturance and finding healing tools now more than ever.
Jan 8: Mercury Enters Capricorn
Like Mars, Mercury (communication, transportation) has been in adventurous Sagittarius for longer than usual due to its three week retrograde from November 25-December 15, forcing us to have the long overdue conversations with those we're in conflict with or in need of some good ol' heart-to-hearts. Now that we have mastered the philosphical and spiritual conversations from the holidays, now it's time for business. Mercury in Capricorn tends to make our communication succinct, to the point, and full of wisdom (thank the retrograde!). This is an auspicious placement now that we're beginning the year and are going back to work.
