Tarot Card of the Week: 

Knight of Wands: Freedom to Create

The Knight usually brings the qualities we need to embody more, and this knight is all about creativity, passion, and artistry. It's time to do what you love. Period. Start that drum circle, take that pottery class, invest in that paint set. Our passions tell us what vessel can best release the deep-rooted emotions we've already worked through. And let's be real: January gave us no choice but to face our greatest wounds, traumas, and pains. Now that you've faced them and understand what changes you must make, these emotions need to be expressed and released out of your body, preferably in the form of an art, physical movement, or any other creative pursuit.

For the healing fam members who are professional artists or are pursuing a creative/artistic profession: I highly recommend NOT using your profession/mastered art form to release these feelings. If you're an actor, try painting. If you're a painter, take a dance class. Find the art that opposes your own, and allow for it to shine a new perspective on your profession.

A lot of beautiful motion forward is happening in the cosmos this week. Literally, forward. No more retrogrades, no more reviews or re-evaluations

Between Jupiter Direct and Venus in Aries, this week is all about warming up to taking empowered action again -- all thanks to last month's transits of awakening.

Feb 4: Venus Enters Aries 

On Tuesday, Venus (relationships, beauty, material possessions) leaves dreamy and ethereal Pisces and enters driven and determined Aries. If you've been feeling stuck, in a rock bottom, or as if you're taking action in sluggish mud, unable to move no matter how hard you try -- Venus in Aries is turning this feeling around for the better. Aries is action-oriented and understands the positive qualities of selfishness. They understand the importance of taking care of themselves in order to best and most productively help others. And that is what this time is all about. Venus in Aries will be a magical time of taking decisive action in your relationships, finance, and all things fashion/art/beauty. The key to knowing what is best in these facets of your life is knowing what is best for yourself. Healthy boundaries may be easier to set and maintain -- in fact, they will be necessary in order for momentum to occur. The theme of this transit is empowerment. 

Feb 4: Jupiter Direct in Gemini

Jupiter (good luck/fortune, growth, expansion) has been in retrograde since October 9, 2024. For the past four months, you may have been facing some uncomfortable growing pains around the big goals you're trying to manifest thanks to this retrograde. It may have not been easy (it probably wasn't), but this time of growth, reflection, and healing has been necessary in order to shift you into the mindset and frequency required for your big dreams to enter your reality. Tuesday, Jupiter is finally direct, allowing for a relieving breath of fresh air! It'll take a few weeks for Jupiter to fully warm up to its direct speed again, so don't expect immediate, shocking change to enter tomorrow, but rather a gentle whisper of expansive opportunities that can connect you to your big goal entering throughout the week and beyond. 

Feb 6: Neptune conjunct North Node in Pisces (28 degrees)

Neptune (love, art, illusion) joins the North Node (purpose) at 28 degrees in dreamy Pisces. Neptune is at home in Pisces, so this is a harmoneous transit that will remove any veils of uncertainty, illusion, confusion, or mystery around your purpose and the step you're currently taking to get there. Remember, we have many purposes that shed light on that big purpose. This transit will gift you the insight on what purpose you're currently mastering in order to fulfill your big one. This purpose, depending on what part of the chart Pisces covers, could deal with partnership, art, creativity, intuition, or healing. The 28th degree is ruled by Cancer, so this could also be a time for motherhood, the home or family. 

A great example for those who may not fully understand this breakdown is as follows-- 

Meryl Streep's big purpose is telling women's stories through the physical form of acting. In order to understand the characters she plays, she must experience many human milestones and apply that to research. One of those human experiences is motherhood. Being a mom is one of her many purposes that shines light on her overall purpose. One does not step above the other, but rather work in coexisting harmony.  

Feb 9: Mercury Cazimi in Aquarius (20 degrees)

Mercury (communication, transportation) forms a Cazimi in rebellious Aquarius. Translating to "in the heart" in Arabic, a Cazimi is when a planet is conjunct the Sun (health, vitality, overall identity) to the exact degree. What I find so magical about this transit is the degree the Cazimi occurs in: 20. The 20th degree is the degree ruled by Scorpio, the sign of shadow and transformation. One of Scorpio's ruling planets, Pluto (revolution, secrets revealed), is also in Aquarius -- and guess for how long? 20 years! 

Mercury Cazimi is shedding light on the long term change you are embarking on for the next 20 years. Because Mercury is the planet of communication and transporation, you may find yourself having the unquestioned confidence in sharing these long term goals aloud and take action on these changes, especially if they include a move to a different city, state, country. This may be the time when you update your passport or other documents to make these changes possible. You may also get a new car, refinance your home, or submit any writing work to publishers -- or at least take the first step to get to these destinations.
