This particular line from Shakespeare's metaphysical poem, The Phoenix and the Turtle rang in my ear as I wrote the astrology for this week. It is not only a week ruled by Venus, but Shakespeare's birth month of April also begins! 

Venus entering Taurus ignites beauty while Venus squaring Pluto reveals the truth. The Full Moon in Venus-ruled Libra allows grace to blossom.

The Sun is one of those feel-good cards that affirms that everything is going to be okay. It's like eating perfectly ripe and satiating watermelon on a warm summer day. Imagine your toes in the sand and the soothing sound of ocean waves crashing upon shore. Nervous system regulating imagery that engages the senses and provides a sense of safety is the beauty this week calls for. Spring just began, and you are on page one of chapter one within this exciting new 10-14 year cycle. Take a breath, ground into the excitement, and look around at the beauty of this moment. This is the time to plan and find the fun in the journey, not burn out! The best way to do this is to listen to your inner child, and let their joy take the lead.

Astrology Forecast: March 30-April 6

March 30: Venus Enters Taurus

The planet of relationships, beauty, finances, and values enters its earthy home sign, Taurus.

Taurus is grounded, romantic, and patient, which is the exact medicine the next thirty days Venus provides you.

This transit in particular begins with Venus in Taurus forming a challenging square with Pluto in Aquarius. Pluto, as we know, represents slow, inevitable change along with revolution and truths surfacing from the shadows. Combined, this first week of Venus entering Taurus requires you to remain grounded in finances and patient in relationships because your values have changed. Do you need to establish new boundaries? Are you noticing a desire to spend or save money in a different way? Pay attention to your evolution within these topics -- you're slowing down so you can rebuild. 

April 1: Full Moon in Libra

In the middle of the week, the first Full Moon of spring illuminates the cosmos in diplomatic Libra, asking for harmony and balance this week. Full Moons are for releasing and shedding, for they are the midpoint of the lunar cycle. This full moon is a hair more particular. It's not asking you to just release, it's asking you to bloom. Let go of the old and outgrown so you can arrive to this new chapter as your true, authentic self, fully integrated in your layers of emotions and parts of self. This is a fantastic opportunity to do chord cutting rituals, cleanse your crystals under the moonlight, and making moon water are highly recommended. This is also a wonderful opportunity to evaluate who your most sacred mirrors are, aka the relationships that most support your beautiful bloom. You're expanding, and it's time to blossom alongside those you love and are willing to grow with you too.
